On Saturday, October 12 at approximately 06:42 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Java, MT, which has affected both main tracks. Java, MT is approximately 70 miles east of Whitefish, MT. BNSF field personnel has assessed the site, and repairs are underway. The estimated time of opening main track one is Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. The estimated time of opening main track two is Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 2100 p.m. CDT.
